While I adore the magic pastel pinks and baby blues of Fantasyland, and of course our iconic little castle, too often a whole side of the part is slept on for photos! I myself am an Indiana-Jones-first kind of gal, and it’s not a Disney day until I’ve boarded the world famous Jungle Cruise.

Just across the Golden Gate Bridge, tucked away at the base of Mount Tamalpais, is the sweetest town of Sausalito. Known and loved by many San Franciscian residents, we cherish this place for it’s serene waterfront, small town shops, and European styled hospitality.

Tucked in between the bustling streets of Waikiki is the stunning Wayfinder Hotel. This little oasis, packed with intentional design, local art, and passionate people, is a picturesque backdrop for any love story.
Moongate Lounge Wedding
After six years of long distance, many cross country flights, and even a worldwide shut down, high school sweethearts Katie and Derek threw the party of a lifetime! K&D then brought the party to the historic Mister Jiu’s in Chinatown. Guests and passing tourists were delighted with lion dancers during a cocktail hour thats spilled out onto the street and under the iconic Chinese lanterns.

The Colony Palms Micro Wedding
A tropical hideaway in the desert, a dress code of pink and glitter, and a day full of colorful details to delight. The Icelandic poppies and sweet peas added such an ethereal fragrance in to the air, everyone on the intimate guest list was simply charmed by this design!
Disney Dapper Day Couples Session
If you’ve never been to Dapper Day in a Disney park, you have a treat to add to your calendar! Scheduled alongside the annual Dapper Day Convention, hundreds of stylish couples enjoy the parks dressed to impress. It can be a jam packed weekend, so if you’re looking to get great photos I recommend hopping to it first thing in the morning!
Kijamii Overlook Wedding at the San Diego Safari Park
Mary & James were married at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, undoubtedly one of the most fun and unique venues I’ve ever seen. Their guests brought an electric energy, all thrilled to celebrate with the incredible couple. Everyone was delighted by the vibrant florals, open air venue, and an unforgettable cocktail hour animal encounter. Think Indiana-Jones-black-tie and you’ve nailed the theme. Both Mary and James had surprises in store for each other, details that were reminders of how perfectly matched they are. Disneyworld animal kingdom theme
Vibrant Yosemite Elopement
When the bride’s signature color is pink, even Yosemite pulls through with the most perfect magenta sunset of all time. What could be better than intimate vows at Taft Point. The florals were carefully crafted with non-invasive blooms that complimented the vibrant spirit of David & Pris. The dress was a stunning Marchesa gown with subtle lilies embroidered throughout. The shoes were, of course, the bride’s favorite Dolce & Gabbana embellished pumps.
Roaring Camp Railroads Wedding
Guests waited in anticipation at a quaint railroad station, hoping to spot a glimpse of a radiant bride. Surrounded by an ancient redwood forest, filled with trees who undoubtedly had been the stoic witnesses to so many love stories before them, James & Brittanie met in the mountains of Santa Cruz to exchange vows and celebrate their love.
Woodside Engagement Session
Woodside seems to be a place untouched by it seasons, stunningly beautiful and green all year round. The air is fresh and the sun is warm on the days the hills can hold off the cloud bank that rolls in from the ocean. This sunshine was exactly what we needed after weeks of rain in California, a perfect day for C&V’s elevated engagement session.
Downtown Santa Barbara Engagement
I’m always encouraging couples to incorporate their love story into their engagement photos. Whether it’s walking through a favorite park, stopping at in-n-out, or visiting museums, it’s a surefire way to feel comfortable in a sometimes awkward environment. For J & S, this was coffee and a picnic, with the gorgeous Santa Barbara County Courthouse as a backdrop.

Most often when we hear about Hawaii elopements we envision unforgettable beaches and breathtaking mountain ranges, but too often the island’s stunning architecture is overlooked. We met up with Ger & Jamaica on the most beautiful day, a classic Oahu morning in downtown Honolulu. She looked absolutely stunning in this detailed lace gown and a uniquely modern bouquet.

Kristen and Angelo's wedding day in Sonoma was a breathtaking springtime celebration filled with stunning floral arrangements and French-inspired details. The couple's first look under the redwood trees and stroll through the picturesque Cornerstone Gardens added to the charm of their romantic day.

With her stunning beaches, unique mountains, and absolutely stunning architecture wherever you turn, this place has quickly become one of my favorite spots in California. I’ve always been a cold-and-foggy-NorCal-beach gal myself, but there is some sort of magic in the air here that may be convincing me otherwise.
