Downtown Santa Barbara Engagement

I’m always encouraging couples to incorporate their love story into their engagement photos. Whether it’s walking through a favorite park, stopping at in-n-out, or visiting museums, it’s a surefire way to feel comfortable in a sometimes awkward environment. For J & S, this was coffee and a picnic, with the gorgeous Santa Barbara County Courthouse as a backdrop.

We stopped in at the delightful Hook & Press donut shop, known for the incredible variety of artisan flavors and delicious coffee. (I highly recommend the earl grey donut!!) Their coffee orders unintentionally matched, which in my book is a sure sign you’ve found your soulmate.
