San Francisco Sailboat Engagement Session

Just across the Golden Gate Bridge, tucked away at the base of Mount Tamalpais, is the sweetest town of Sausalito. Known and loved by many San Franciscian residents, we cherish this place for it’s serene waterfront, small town shops, and European styled hospitality.

This is where I met Maddie & Daniel for their long awaited engagement session. Together with Captain Heather, we hopped aboard the stunning Carodon sailboat and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the city and Sausalito behind us.

The light was absolute perfection, dotting through trees and adding a gorgeous dimension to the hillside cottages.

Sausalito is a charming coastal town nestled along theBay, known for its picturesque waterfront, Mediterranean-like climate, and iconic views of the Golden Gate Bridge. With its quaint shops, art galleries, and waterfront restaurants, Sausalito offers a peaceful escape from the city, yet remains just a short drive or ferry ride from San Francisco. Its blend of natural beauty and laid-back atmosphere makes Sausalito a perfect destination for leisurely strolls, sailing adventures, and soaking in the serene bay views.

Captain Heather is an incredible sailor (She recently returned from a round trip voyage to Hawai’i!) and firmly believes that sailing is for everyone. The boat is absolutely stunning to photograph and I highly recommend any couples interested in a sailboat session check out A Fine Day For Sailing.
