Kijamii Overlook Wedding at the San Diego Safari Park

The smell of dried grass wafted in the clean summer air. Birds noisily chatted, and in the distance giraffes watched two incredible people exchange vows. Mary & James were married at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, undoubtedly one of the most fun and unique venues I’ve ever seen. Their guests brought an electric energy, all thrilled to celebrate with the incredible couple. Everyone was delighted by the vibrant florals, open air venue, and an unforgettable cocktail hour animal encounter. Think Indiana-Jones-black-tie and you’ve nailed the theme. Both Mary and James had surprises in store for each other, details that were reminders of how perfectly matched they are.

From handwritten love letters before they saw each other, hand painted signs, and a choreographed ‘Barbie’ dance, this wedding was truly bursting with personality.

This day could not have happened without the most incredible team of vendors!
