Moongate Lounge Wedding

After six years of long distance, many cross country flights, and even a worldwide shut down, high school sweethearts Katie and Derek threw the party of a lifetime! The two met in their childhood home of San Francisco, which was the perfect backdrop of their vibrant, multicultural celebration. K&D then brought the party to the historic Mister Jiu’s in Chinatown. Guests and passing tourists were delighted with lion dancers during a cocktail hour thats spilled out onto the street and under the iconic Chinese lanterns.

A Love Letter to San Francisco

I’ve been lucky to call San Francisco my home since the day I was born. This city, with its own unique highs and lows, always leaves such an impression on anyone who comes to visit. From the winter sunbathers in golden gate park to the summertime wind and fog, I cherish all the wonderful vignettes of life here.

This day was no exception. With heavy rain forecast for us all day, we had to make some last minute pivots. Even when the sun came out we kept to our rain plan as the weather was going to be unpredictable. I couldn’t imagine anything better.

Stuart & Nafiseh, day-after Wedding Portraits

A day-after session doesn’t necessarily have to be the day after your wedding. It’s perfect if you want your bouquet and jewelry all in the same place, but we can schedule these up to a month after your big day. It’s best to not schedule them too far out, that way you’re more likely to receive these images along with your wedding day album. If that isn't important, some couples schedule this session a year after as a way to celebrate their anniversary.

This stunning hotel has become the home-away-from-home for royalty, rockstar’s, politicians, and everyone in between. Freshly added to this amazing lineup of history: Caitlin and Amir’s wedding day.

It’s no secret that people love Disney. It’s some of the very first media we enjoy as children. Visually stunning movies such as Atlantis, Cinderella, and Wall-e (my personal favorites!) inspire our sense of adventure. Stories that showcase true friendship and bravery stay close in our hearts all as we grow up. Pixar’s ‘Up’ has done all that for so many people, for kids and big kids. Carl and Ellie’s on screen relationship is so sweet and sincere, many couples choose the song “Married Life,” which plays over the three minute montage showcasing their life together, to walk back down the aisle to.

May the force be with you

Bright suns my friends! In honor of May the Fourth I had to share some of my favorite photos paying homage to our classic space opera. While I may not be the most intense Star Wars fan you could encounter, the original trilogy is so near and dear to my heart.
