A Love Letter to San Francisco
I’ve been lucky to call San Francisco my home since the day I was born. This city, with its own unique highs and lows, always leaves such an impression on anyone who comes to visit. From the winter sunbathers in golden gate park to the summertime wind and fog, I cherish all the wonderful vignettes of life here.
This day was no exception. With heavy rain forecast for us all day, we had to make some last minute pivots. Even when the sun came out we kept to our rain plan as the weather was going to be unpredictable. I couldn’t imagine anything better. The Fairmont Hotel offered the most amazing indoor spaces with stunning natural light. Later we ventured to Leo’s Oyster Bar for some delicious cocktails and moody, colorful portraits.
It wouldn’t be an San Francisco wedding without a ride on our iconic cable cars! These trolley’s have been a staple of the city since their invention here in 1873. They were San Francisco’s main source of transportation for over 30 years, and still remain a favorite way to traverse our hills.
