John & Lindsay

If you want a wedding with the most personality, sweetest moments, and a boatload of fun, here it is! John and Lindsay’s wedding day was filled with such beautiful intentionality. With a beautiful morning ceremony nestled in the quiet redwoods, the two exchanged their vows in front of family. After their first look, we jumped right into portraits, and by the time we were done family had begun to arrive. Instead of keeping Lindsay in hiding before walking down the aisle, she and John walked straight to where their family had gathered for a warm embrace before the official start of the ceremony.

Later, excited friends came to celebrate with them at a lively reception in Palo Alto. John and Lindsay joined their friends at cocktail hour where their guests were given a lesson in Salsa dancing! You have no idea how badly I wanted to drop my camera and jump in the dancing!

Afterwards we enjoyed a taco dinner from the El Halal Amigos food truck, a boba bar, and to top the night off, freshly made churros!!

These two are such sweet and genuine souls. They truly invested in the parts of the day that mattered most. Time with family, commitment to each other, and a darn good meal! It was such an honor to take part in this beautiful day.
