Downtown Honolulu Elopement

Ger & Jamaica

Most often when I hear about Hawaii elopements we envision

unforgettable beaches and breathtaking mountain ranges, but too often the island’s stunning architecture is overlooked.

We met up with Ger & Jamaica on the most beautiful day, a classic Oahu morning in downtown Honolulu. She looked absolutely stunning in this detailed lace gown and a uniquely modern bouquet.

The Moana Surfrider Hotel is a stunning beachfront destination. With a history dating back to 1901, this elegant hotel offers stunning views of Waikiki Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Well known for embodying the true essence of Hawaiian hospitality, the Moana Surfrider completely wowed me with it’s breathtaking lobby, welcoming details. and uniquely crisp island architecture.

Even though the Surfrider didn’t host the ceremony or reception, you can still take stunning photos on the property!

Next, we headed to the Honolulu Post Office for more photos. While it may seem like an unusual location, the post office actually has some stunning architecture and unique details that made for some amazing photos. Jerr and Jamaica were up for anything, and we had a great time exploring the area and taking some truly one-of-a-kind photos.
