A Summer Wedding at the Maple Lawn

Surrounded by gorgeous blooming magnolia trees, on a radiant sunshiney day, Markkus and Maharlika stood hand in hand and exchanged their vows.

From the start the bride had expressed that she wanted a simple, garden inspired wedding celebrated with close friends and family. You could see how her love for Jane Austen influenced the design of this day.

The two shared the sweetest first look in the corner of the beautiful courtyard. The Maple Lawn at the Elks lodge feels like a perfect hidden gem nestled in the hills of Marin. With stunning views of Mount Tam and the coolest historic home, I couldn’t imagine a better spot for the two to be wed!

Bubble exits have quickly become my favorite way to photograph a grand exit! The bubbles look incredible, completely lit up by my cameras flash. They aren’t a fire hazard and don’t get in the way of the bride and groom like streamers or sparklers do.
